Does LSU focus on Alabama talent like Bama schools work at Louisiana Talent??

They'd be incredibly stupid not to when there are great recruits in Alabama.

LSU used to focus on Mobile talent a ton back when they had a shot at them. Now Bama and AU have Mobile locked down. Louisiana talent, on the other hand, is very much willing to go to Alabama.

Really no need to try to recruit that hard in Bama when you have you're own backyard stacked with talent.

LSU has the whole state to itself. Plus a lot of east Texas.
Alabama has two big time schools, not to mention FSU is
just a short drive from the state's border.

LSU has more talent available than scholarships
It is much more impressive to go into Alabama and beat out Bama, Auburn and Troy for a recruit
Losing a recruit to Bama doesn't hurt near as much as Les Miles' offense hurts us. The main reason we do lose some is because Saban was coach here and has connections.............some of which are dirty
