Yeah but he also won't have him slinging it all over the field.
He'll have to without a great running game or when they start stacking the box. There is no guarantee that Arkansas can run the ball after last year and losing the top 2 rushers. Alex hasn't proven anything yet. He could be great but he could just be average. Plus ULL was decent at stopping the run. That is why I said it will come down to Allen and how well he can throw.

You're right. There's no guarantee. But I would bet a lot of money that we run the ball very well.

And Allen has a very good arm. His problem last year was upstairs. If he's gotten it together mentally (which it seems like he has based on teammates' testimonies) then he'll be better than serviceable. I'm more worried about receivers than Allen.

arkie probably has a chip on their shoulder. There is something to be said for that. See Louisville in the Sugar Bowl. We rode that all last year after people said we couldn't compete in the SEC.

No, they were 42nd in the country against the run, and the only reason they're ranked that high is because everyone passed against them. Their pass defense was 112th.

Collins has gotten a lot of hype and deservedly so, but he isn't the only RB we have. Jonathan Williams was ranked the 12th best RB in the 2012 class and played in a high school all-american game...he averaged 4.5 YPC last year as a freshman

I understand not many know who he is since he played behind davis and johnson but i think our running game will be pretty legit this year. I mean we finished LAST in the SEC in rushing with those guys so its not like we have nowhere to improve
