i don't see why the other calling it the same thing upsets either of these fanbases. But i look forward to the outcry.

The guy is right. LSU should go back to Deaf Valley or drop the reference completely.

Clemson will be renaming the stadium on Sunday after the serious arse-kicking they are going to get on Saturday. 4 weeks later, we handle the team from the other Death Valley.

That's BS. The true Death Valley belongs to the Tigers.

Loved Clemson's stadium, minus the outcome of the game. It can definitely get rocking, especially in the student section. They do lose some sound based on the stadium setup, but it is a very nice stadium. And I love they let the fans leave at halftime to go retox and come back in before 2nd half kickoff.

With that in mind, Frick LSU®

I don't think there is anything in tiger stadium anymore that mentions death valley. It's always referred to as Tiger Stadium. Either way, who gives a frick.

I've never understood why either school would want to be known as the hottest, shittiest place in the US

w/e

Tell them we want the rights to Tiger Rag back.

They ruined that song.

...Hell, we were "Tigers" first. Let them keep "Death Valley" (if they can get the rights from the REAL Death Valley) and get a new mascot.

Not only did LSU rip off Death Valley, but they've completely blown the "earthquake game" out of proportion.

Seismic readings happen often at defining moments at major sporting events provided there is a seismograph near the facility. LSU's is only a thousand or so feet away from the stadium. It also didn't gain "lore" as the Earthquake game until a couple of years later when ESPN was trying to drum up interest in an Auburn LSU game in 91.
