It's gotten very expensive and you can see almost every game on TV. The NFL is experiencing the same thing.

It's not that CFB (or the NFL) have "crested." In fact I think the interest and passion is greater than it has ever been. It's just economic reality and television that is changing the dynamics.

Agreed! As the cost of attending a game increases, the cost of huge HDTV's decreases, and the number of televised games increases. It's also nice to have beer during college football ... and to tell them to hold the snap for a minute (hit pause), while you make a quick trip to the beer rental return station (bathroom). Lately, I think there has been a lot of attention devoted to trying to improve the game day experience at the stadiums to keep pace with the improving home viewing experience.
