Let's say JFF is ruled out. Texas A&M's offense is now crippled and they become a running team. A&M also has two starters out on defense. Texas A&M's defense is already a huge question mark even with those two starters. Rice is a decent team and they return many starters.

What is Rice's chance of pulling the upset?

I give them a 25% chance.

Rice beat Kansas last year, so with out JM, aggys would be in trouble.

No chance whatsoever. Less than zero. I could suit up as QB for A&M and hand the ball off to Ben Malena, Trey Williams, or Brandon Williams every play and A&M still wins going away.

Remember that "Rice is a decent team and they return many starters" when you're complaining about A&M's strength of schedule later in the season.

Rice returns 18 of 22 starters, and won their last 5 games. Their top 2 tacklers are out for the game, but they'll still cover the spread.

Jimmy Carter was President the last time Rice beat A&M. The last time A&M lost to a Non Conference opponent from Texas was 1954.

Yep, A&M fricked.

Ags have won the last 15 meetings between the two programs. I don't see that trend changing in 2013.

But I guess anything is possible.

Didn't Brett Hundley's first snap of his career go for a rushing TD against RICE? I think A&M could run the ball and win against that defense.
