I'll be shocked if Washington State doesn't cover that.

We are at home UNC is coming to us to get that arse whooping.

Arky has got to want to stomp and make a point, even @-11, surely??

Auburn -14.5 vs. Wash St.
Seems a little high. I'll take WSU.

This is Mike Leach's 2nd year and that Offense should be clicking. I'd definitely take WSU and the points. Hard to believe it's a 14.5 pt spread. It started at 13.5, so the money is going on AU, surprisingly.

Rice +26.5

I really was hoping for some good material, but you guys have this one in the fricking bag. A&M covers all day A&M Rice History
Posted on 8/25/13 at 3:27 pm to Beer Bryant
Don't know if it has been mentioned but I like USC to beat the ever living shite out of Hawaii. Get on it now cause the spread is growing. I got it at -22.5. This is their chance to create the hype again by abusing an inferior opponent.

Tennessee is a 51 point favorite over Austin Peay.
Missouri is a 38 point favorite over Murray State.

Hole E. shite! I think I'd take Austin Peay just for the point spread.

UF -24 vs. Toledo
I dont know about this. Maybe they are banking on a dominate defense and strong running game for a 24-0, 31-7 type of win.

quote:WSU was dead last in the nation last year in Sacks allowed. Plus their Defense was worse than Auburn's and thats bad. Plus they were Colorado's only win of the year. But I still wouldn't bet on that line.

USCe -11 vs. UNC
South Carolina should win this by 20, but it will be closer for no reason. UNC +11 would be my bet.
quote:
OM -3 at Vandy
Ole Miss had them beaten handily last year until their QB got hurt. Revenge motive and other such stuff. Take Ole Miss and spot the 3 points.
quote:
Bama -19.5 vs. VT (Atlanta)
VT will be warm garbage as always. Bama should win easily. Give VT the points.
quote:
UK -4.5 vs. WKU (Nashville)
Kentucky sucks. WKU was better than their name the last year or so, but will struggle this year with the adjustment to BP. Should be a close game, though. Take Kentucky minus 4.5 but hard to feel strongly about this one.
quote:
Okie St. -12.5 vs. MSU (Houston)
Usually I would expect a good SEC defense to shut down a Big XII faux offense, but MSU isn't a good defense by SEC standards, and they have a history of getting smoked by non-conference offenses. WVU and Oregon in the last 10 years are the most notable examples. Still, a close enough game to take State with the 12.5.
quote:
TAMU -26.5 vs. Rice
Don't know much about Rice, but A&M won't be as good as everyone thinks. I'd take Rice here.
quote:
UF -24 vs. Toledo
UF has lately been a little sluggish in these opening yawners. 24 is a lot, so I guess take the points, but this is one you'd be crazy to bet. UF by 50 would be just as likely as by less than 24.
quote:
Arky -11 vs. UL-L
The big revenge game. Only about 300 people in Lafayette will realize it's not the same "Louisiana" that beat them last year. Arkansas by 20.
quote:
Auburn -14.5 vs. Wash St.
Can't imagine taking Auburn and spotting 14.5 against anybody. Take the points.
quote:
UGA -1.5 at Clemson
Shouldn't be a problem for the Dawgs. Notwithstanding our no-show in the Peach, Clemson sucks. Take Georgia.
quote:
LSU -4.5 vs. TCU (Jerryworld)
There used to be a time you could trust LSU against any non-SEC team. Now you can't if it's a bowl game or a mid-major. But regular season, especially season opener, against a ranked BCS-AQ league team? Money. LSU will roll, spot the points.
quote:
Tennessee is a 51 point favorite over Austin Peay.
Surprising they've even got a line on this one. UT is obviously better, but AP will be fired up. I will guess the Vols will be a little conservative and a little sluggish. Take the 51.
quote:
Missouri is a 38 point favorite over Murray State.
The Tigers can probably beat them as badly as they want, and 38 isn't asking too much, I guess. A shaky nod to Mizzou.
