8/29
South Carolina 27
North Carolina 13
Clowney and the USCe defense make the difference in the Carolina states battle.
Ole Miss 34
Vandy 31
Bo Wallace leads the rebels on a late drive to pay back the Commodores for last seasons loss in Oxford
8/31
Missouri 49
Murray State 7
Gary Pinkel and his tigers need to get as many early victories as they can before they hit the beef of their SEC schedule
Tennessee 45
Austin Peay 10
The Butch Jones era starts with a win, but it'll be hard to gauge the Vols by this game.
Texas A&M 56
Rice 14
Johnny Football brushes off the controversial offseason and passes for 3 TDs and runs for 2 more
Kentucky 31
Western Kentucky 21
This game will be closer than the experts think with Bobby Petrino calling plays for WKU, however Mark Stoops' Cats have more talent.
Florida 42
Toledo 10
Holy Toledo Bayman, the Rockets visit to the Swamp won't be a good one as Will Muschamp's gators have an easy home opener.
Arkansas 28
UL-Lafayette 24
Arkansas better hope they don't overlook the Ragin' Cajuns in Bret Bielema's opener as Head Hawg.
Auburn 38
Washington State 21
Gus Malzahn's high powered spread offense returns to the plains where his Tigers should handle the visiting Cougars.
Mississippi State 42
Oklahoma State 41
Call me crazy, but I feel that if the bulldogs can score with OSU they have a chance to pull the upset.
Georgia 35
Clemson 31
Along with the Mississippi State/OK ST this could be one of the best games of the day. Aaron Murray and the UGA backfield prove to be the difference.
LSU 31
TCU 17
Coach Les Miles' players have more talent than TCU and it'll show on the field at Cowboy's Stadium.
Alabama 38
Virginia Tech 7
Looks good on Paper, but this one wont even be close as Bama jumps on VA Tech early and cruises to an early season win in the Georgia Dome.
South Carolina 27
North Carolina 13

Everything looks legit to me. Wouldn't be surprised if Hud pulls an upset in week 1 against Arkansas. Wouldn't be surprised at all. There's a little bit of Homer in your State prediction but I wouldn't be THAT surprised to see y'all win that day, but I'm taking OK State 42-31

You're crazy. OSU covers the 12.5 easily.

UNC is scoring more than 13.

I agree with all of them except for the M State one. Okie lite gonna be too much for State.

So basically you have the whole SEC winning except for Ole Miss. Not exactly bold.

the only "BOLD" pick in there is Miss St winning

You do realize that the spread has been sitting at Kentucky as only a 4-5 point favorite for awhile now right?
I think the experts might have a little bit of a jump on you.

Will be closer. Rice has a 5 game winning streak and return 18 starters. They run that style of Offense that A&M has trouble with. See: La. Tech

I only see one bold STATEment

This is my pick for the upset of the week. Mike Leach had WSU playing competitively against the likes of Oregon, Oregon State, Cal, AZ, ASU,etc...
The high powered spread is nothing new for them. Leach knows something of the spread too. WSU should be prepared for it. Victory should go to Auburn on home field advantage.

Not so sure. Who is having more off field issues right now???

No... Western UK wins this one.

Hud wins. Will be hired to a big and better school.

Agree with result, but it's not a matter of scoring with them. A shooting match is not what we want. We want to limit their touches by methodically marching up and down the field. Putting together 5-7 minute drives.

Agree with every prediction except for State. I think you guys are going to give them hell but I think in the end they pull it out. It will be a touchdown or less game.

Could be? Georgia/Clemson IS the best game of the day. Just because you're a dumb Mississippi State fan doesnt mean your game is one of the best of the day.

Again, DUMB.. Well yeah, IF you can score with OSU, I would imagine you have a chance to pull the upset. What happens IF you cannot score with them? Do you think you lose?? Logical thinking escapes me at times.
