That sounds about right. That being said, McCarron has a far better chance of succeeding as an NFL QB than Manziel does.

That is indisputable, but Manziel might get more playing time faster than AJ.

I don't think AJ walks right into a starting role. He will have the luxury of carrying that clipboard a year or two.

Manziel due to the hype will be forced to play immediately, and I think it will end badly.

I think Johnny Manziel is a Russell Wilson clone. I think AJ McCarron is a mixture of Graham Harrell and Matt Leinart. So... AJ really has his work cut out for him not to be a career backup.

True, because he should stay relatively injury free unlike Johnny Football who will be thrown to the wolves as a mobile QB.
