I think Baton Rouge offers the best mix. It's a major urban area that has a decidedly college town feel.

I will say that I went to Starkville and despite its bad rep, I enjoyed it. Maybe because I was with an MSU alum and he showed us around.

Lol. Baton Rouge has 230,000 inhabitants in an urban area a bit over 400,000 people. That's cute that you think it's a "major" urban area.
