If only the other coaches would man up and join Saban in chanting "Nine Game Schedule."

Too many pussy arse coaches out there worried about their jobs.
Does beating 4 teams like Georgia State, Fordham, Sam Houston State, and Western Carolina really save your job over playing one more game against a team like a Florida or a Missouri?

Well other coaches in the SEC like Richt, Spurrier, Franklin, Muschamp, and whoever Kentucky's new coach is has to put up with quality BCS schools each year. No reason for them to want to go to a 9-game conference schedule.

Says the little big man who doesn't face an OOC rival home and home each year in addition to offsite rivalry. Bama would crap their pants if they dared to have less than 7 home games a year.

I too think it would be far better all the way around to go to 9 games, but there are very real financial reasons UGA and UF at least oppose it. It could very well lead to 5 home games in some years or the cessation of two things that make CFB as wonderful as it is- games that are events and bitter rivalries. I have enjoyed the Cocktail Party for what it is, but if it came down to it, I would be able to live with a H and H series there rather than stop the UGA GaTech rivalry.

It saddened me when Texas and Texas AM refused to continue their rivalry.
