Nice to read everyone's stories.
I'm TrueSon was born in Miami Florida just turned 22. Moved to Missouri when I was young (about 2). Still go back to Miami to see family at least once a year. Have been a Mizzou/ Florida State fan my whole life (I am sure that doesn't sit well with too many gators). Currently attend Mizzou scheduled to graduate in may. Work at flatbranch pub and grill in Columbia. Plan on trying to get back to south beach when I graduate. Fun fact: Moms side of the family is from Cuba (not missouri ) and so I know Spanish since before I knew English. And favorite SEC team that's not Mizzou would have to be LSU or SCAR (however after last years beating idk how much I like them lol)

Born in Little Rock many years ago. Great-great-great-great grandson of Benjamin W. Johnson, commander of 15th Arkansas Infantry. Cousin to deputy killz and Joe Don Rooney of Rascal Flatts. Don't much care for LSU.

The question is... What is your remote controlling?
I love hearing everyone's stories!

Welcome to all the new posters!
I grew up on a cattle ranch about 25 miles south of KC. Attended Mizzou before most of you were even born. Dated Tom Berenger, actor, our freshman year when he was still Tom Moore. Yes, that means I am in my sixties. Married to another Mizzou alum who would never post on a message board...LOL...But he is a fanatical fan! Our only child attended TCU in Fort Worth, and settled in Texas after graduation. We have three grandchildren.
Taught middle school kids for 20 years, but now spend my time involved with volunteer community service. I am currently serving my third four-year term as an elected City Council Member in my town of 12,000 residents.
Due to husband's employment, now live in south central kansas in the heart of enemy territory!

Born in STL and now reside in the soulard area even though I went to SEMO and not mizzou I have been black and gold since a kid. I don't have a high post count, but I probably check the mizzou board 2-3 times a day hah. I think we have a pretty solid core of posters who are always on the ball with any new mizzou update.Keep it coming

TIL SEMO means Southeastern Missouri, and not the name of the town semotruman is from

Born in Fort Smith. I work in the medical field. I have 2 girls, one of which is about to start college. I use to live in Nixa when I was very young, hence my interest in Missouri.

They call me T Rey but SEMOnster is not too fond of that. I was born...I expect to die. The contents of the ellipsis are long but the short version:
I am a life-long University of Alabama fan.
My father's family has deep roots in MO, about 45 miles NW of Columbia.
My great great grandfather was murdered on one of his two farms by Pinkerton men out of Kansas a few years after the Civil War.
I have spent a little time on the campus at MU and visited a few of the "need to see" spots in town.
I used to be an "insider" because of some relationships in Tuscaloosa but not so much anymore.
If you get the chance to grab Kirby, I would suggest it would be a good choice.
I guess that will do for now.

If we could only be so lucky. I don't see him leaving for the Mizzou job even if offered.

Because of his effective involvement in the Civil War under the command of General Price as a scout, a marksman/sniper and a member of Gen Price's personal guard.
