What is night school? I've heard that term before, but I assume it doesn't just mean taking evening classes (which I have done).

It was a joke. IIRC, someone asked Bryant, back in the day before UAB had football, if UAB had a team, would Alabama play them if they did? Bryant supposedly responded with, "We don't play night schools."
