Our o-line has the look of an o-line. Big and nasty. Now if they'd only play that way. Reeve Koehler is a pup with some bite though. He has a mean streak. Skipper is a huge human being.

Didn't really see anyone who particularly stood out on d. I did notice, that on passing downs, jamichael Winston was in a standing stance at DE, ala Demarcus Ware.

D backs were in position a lot but our receivers out manned them for the ball.

Buddha did get lit up once. As soon as he got the ball, Spaight straight nailed him.

I think the scrimmage was back and forth for the most part. The points when I noticed either side grabbing a decided advantage was 1v2. Both sides looked even when paired against equals. I was very happy with what I witnessed overall. Are there needs for improvements? Yes, but for a first fall with new systems both sides have peaked my interest. The best part, some of the consensus best players on the team weren't active today ( Small, Swanson, Jones, and Hatcher ). Lots of positives to me, and still 3 more weeks before the first game. We have some damn good players on both sides of the ball. Some are known, others will be before 2014.
