I added an addendum to my post. I don't know enough about Hill to discuss it, I was just referring to the 'sex amongst high school students' statement.

As far as Hill goes, the whole thing is a moot discussion. The state convicted him of a misdemeanor, and that is the end. It doesn't matter if someone thinks the act should be totally legal and someone else thinks it should be a capital offense.

It was a misdemeanor committed before he even joined LSU. His most recent offense is also a misdemeanor. They were punished by the state as a misdemeanor and should be punished by LSU in the same light. That means you don't end the kid's career (and thus probably his education).
