I stand by that as the most selfish thing a fellow amateur teammate can do. That is preached daily as the one thing not to do. We arent talking laws or morality we are talking inside a football locker room.
U know that place where Johnny would be listening and publicly agreeing with this daily. Im saying that theres not anything worse, much less plenty worse. A military man should understand this.
In the much bigger scope of life, yes killing or raping someone is way worse but that is only going to affect that one player not everyone else. He will have to answer for that by himself.

The leaders of A&M are going to do what's best for the school, same as LSU's. All this righteous indignation on your part is poppycock, I must say. They're cooperating with the investigation, and the leadership of both schools will make decisions that will hopefully have the least mitigating effect on both institutions.

One school is deciding on one kids future that isnt going to affect the rest of the school either way. The other school is gambling with the entire institution by protecting this one kid for money.

The A&M leaders continue to coddle and protect this one guy so they can line their own pockets and subject the rest of these players and student body to NCAA probation and bowl bans. Keep preaching academics and life lessons but continue to show the world that what u actually practice is economics. Just admit it and move on. There will be plenty that will agree with u anyway.

I didnt realize that u think Johnny is a douche.

My apologies for assuming you were coddling this 20 year old " boy." Which is the point here isnt it?

"Daily"? They're allowed to have lives outside of football.

Not true at all. Getting kicked off a team for killing or raping someone affects everyone else, too.

Yeah, A&M is big, bad, and evil.

News flash. Every bigtime college football school is out to do the exact same thing--protect their biggest assets: boosters and football players. Including your beloved LSU. No one is exempt here. Everyone practices economics. And A&M is hardly the only school to espouse a moral standard. Does that make the school hypocritical? Hell yes, just like everyone else in this game. It's NOT right, but it also is what it is, so any righteous indignation should be directed across the board.

I'm really not sure what point you were trying to make, to be honest. If you really think a player raping or killing someone doesn't affect everyone else the same as accepting money for autographs, I'm speechless at your position.
