There is nothing worse or more selfish for an amateur team sport player than accepting money

I cannot believe you typed that with a straight face.

Actually TBird, if u dont understand that any team sport amateur accepting money from anyone much less a creepy autograph broker is the ultimate selfish behavior then I m done arguing the point with u.
Obviously u have no idea about college athletics, if u dont understand that.

Every big time college football player has been offered big time money, but 99% of them said no. But not Johnny. And there are people arguing on his behalf.

If u didnt appreciate me bringing up the military part of A&M regarding this, thats one thing. But unfortunately the leaders of A&M have an obligation more so than others IMO.

You said "worse or more selfish." I'm saying there's plenty worse. It's common knowledge that it's selfish. I've said as much about JFF in other threads.

There is no way that you know that with any degree of certainty. To say otherwise is bullshite.

You can bring up whatever the hell you wish to bring up. I was using your statement to point out a bit of hypocrisy some have (not you, necessarily), when it comes to A&M claiming a military heritage.

The leaders of A&M are going to do what's best for the school, same as LSU's. All this righteous indignation on your part is poppycock, I must say. They're cooperating with the investigation, and the leadership of both schools will make decisions that will hopefully have the least mitigating effect on both institutions.
