Or he could just be a dumb 18 year old kid who didn't want to admit he wimped out. His foot hurt, and he saw the competition, and realized D1 was really tough, and decided Mizzou wasn't a good "fit", then decided to be critical of the medical rehab/training plan to deflect from fears.

I pointed out in another thread that yes, this is a bad injury. BUT, we all know how attitude comes into play. Barrett Jones, the Rams rookie center, played most of last season at Alabama with this same injury. He had surgery 2 days after the BCSCG. Then rehabbed like crazy and is ready for practice ahead of schedule with the Rams. If Mizzou was expecting greater toughness than Gill was prepared for, this is for the best.

Seems as though a lot of these Metro STL recruits don't pan out.

For every Jeremy Maclin there are 3 Harneet Gills.

I'm not going to get upset if we don't thoroughly recruit STL anymore. It's never really been a hotbed of talent, and a lot of these dudes seem less ready to compete than those from the western side of the state.

Just an observation.

However, the bs that gets spewed forth from a lot of the STL media has been happening for years, and it makes zero sense.

Semo...

I think it was Gill that wanted to be more aggressive than the MU training staff.
