Yeah, I'd really like to know the motive for the negativity from the Post Dispatch. I don't get it. I guess in general (as you can see at ESPN) that negative and controversial news stories reign supreme.

That's the media in general from what I've seen. The only motivation I could see, and I haven't read the story, was him thinking it would go national. Of course it won't though, because Mizzou isn't a good national story due to the fact that so many in the state take the opportunity to shite on Mizzou and hamstring the team in the major cities.
It's a magic circle.

I don't think it was the post, unless I missed something. Cusamano is on TV and radio and my guess is from the timing of the post, it was probably something said during his radio show. I think Matter wrote a more positive article/blog.
