I must have missed something. Was he badmouthing Mizzou's medical staff today or something?

Yeah, he said he lost faith in Mizzou's plan for his rehabilitation. Which is a definitely a negative jab.

The media then ran with it as they typically do. They sided with Gill, instead of pointing out the impeccable track record of the MU medical staff.

I could care less about Gill, he's not getting my concern. Just pointing out that this guy caused negative news for Mizzou in the media.

Today he did, but tomorrow it may turn out they did the right thing. There won't be a media story, but it is what it is.

If anything, I think it helps out with a lot of these recruits we tend to like to pursue that really dig the whole "family atmosphere" thing Coach Pinkel's developed.

"Yeah, his injury was a bit more severe than we thought and we wanted him to undertake some more intensive treatments and therapy, and he wasn't into it. We're not going to put a half hurt student athlete on the field for our own gain, these kids are more important than that."
