They are taking out the concrete supports under that old corner section and preparing to add additional rows to make them line up. The grade of the sections wont match, but you wont notice when its full and it isnt nearly as blatant as the sideline sections at Tiger Stadium.

The only thing that looks bad to me is the difference between the second deck and the second deck corner piece. They could have just made the concrete base thicker to match them up. Hopefully the ribbon board will hide it.
