Absolutely. I think it is written that way in the SEC and BCS by-laws. Something to the effect of "the winner of the TAMU/Gump game will secure a place in the B(S)CS national champeenship game..."

When LSU has 5 losses this season, who else is going to win the West? Ole Miss?
