Hate is too strong of a word. I have family that are LSU Alum and many friends in the NW La area that are as well. No hatred for any of them.
What I can't stand is the arrogance of many of them about their program. You have only really come on as a major program in the last twelve years or so. Before that you were slightly above average for most of your history, except for some exceptional years in the fifties.
So a lot of you talk more trash than Alabama fans and they have about ten times as many accomplishments as you do.
It's just annoying and a little bit embarrassing that you don't recognize your place.

I know more LSU fans than I can count and I wouldn't describe a one of them as arrogant in regards to LSU football.

It's funny, though: in 1990 before LSU's darkest decade in football, we were ranked 13th in all time win percentage. Aggie's ranking in 1990? 37th. I guess an Aggie would know something about being mediocre.
I know, I know, you're going to say next that using 1990 as a cutoff is a bit self-serving of me. After all, during the 90s you were beating down LSU, right? So let's look at 2000 and account for the golden years of Aggie and doldrums of LSU: in 2000 we were still ranked top 15 in all time win percentage. Aggie in 2000? 23.
As of last year, LSU is back up to 12th and Aggie is still at 23. So, remind me again who doesn't know whose place?
