Because y'all are high and mighty about Bama's manipulation of the schedule, but y'all were getting whipped so bad in the 90s and weren't good enough to ever start anything other than 0-1 y'all backed out of a contract and refused to pay the money due to us?

Why are A&M fan's stuck in the past? LSU still lead's overall series no matter how much you bitch about the 90's

There was 1 year left on the contract and we gave you an in-state school to play for that remaining game. That school was my alma mater, Louisiana-Lafayette, and they beat you.

Still waiting to see the actual evidence that this is why the series ended. I've also heard it argued that Texas schools didn't like the exosure LSU was getting and feared it threatened their hom state recruiting. Not sure if this is factual either. The former just sounds like A&M BS to me.

No, because we were forced to schedule a tougher opponent in home and away series every year by the conference.

As far as not paying A&M back, they seemed perfectly fine with the surrogate team we offered up (as per the contract) - until the Aggies LOST at USL!

Oh yeah, the Cajuns aren't a valid replacement game.

Aggies are so funny.
