You might be thinking of Dante Sawyer who was from the same school and committed to SC but in this past years class that is showing up this fall as true freshmen (or not showing up as the case may be).

Am I the only one who feels like if Drew Lock were a Bama or FSU commit and had the camps that he has had, he would be a 5* instead of 4*?

No doubt. By all accounts, he frankly had the best camp up there at the Elite11.
I think the other thing that cuts against him is I don't think he has a PR machine working behind him like some of the other top recruits or like Blaine Gabbert back in the day. Lock just quietly goes about his business and let's his performance do the talking.

+1... thanks for the update. That's a kid that would thrive under Coach Kul. Any perspective on the 400lb bench? Seems to be at elite strength already.

My only perspective on the bench is I can't do it. 
That seems pretty far up there for someone just starting their senior year of high school though.

Haha, yeah that's an insane number that I will never reach.
For perspective, Rivals has Saint-Amour's weight at 245lbs.
According to exrx.net, someone who weighs 242lbs needs to bench press 395lbs to reach "elite" status.
I'd say the kid is STRONG and will be able to play some "old man football" by Sophomore year.
