I don't know who would win. But, I'm sure all football fans would watch - two tremendous athletes for sure.

Not near as good as Newton though.

and according to certain LSU fans, they could have easily blown out A&M. I haven't rewatched the game, but LSU fans state that Mettenberger missed 5 wide open touchdown passes. LSU defeated A&M with fewer than 100 yards passing. Secondly, the score was 24-12 with less than 1:30 remaining when A&M scored a garbage touchdown to make it appear close.
Florida had no tape on Johnny Manziel, but once they figured out his limitations, they shut him down. If the Louisiana Tech game wasn't postponed, then Florida could have had some idea of Manziel's capabilities. A&M lost to two teams with considerably inferior offenses. If Driskel and Mettenber would play to their potential, then neither game is close.
A&M won the Heisman because 1. there were only 3 candidates, i.e. pool was weak 2. Manziel lead his team to a victory over Alabama; though the Texas A&M defense deserves some credit for forcing turnovers after underthrown deep balls.
