I work for a world wide engineering company based here in the USA. We do work in the gas, oil and chemical world. We have a couple of A&M engineering grads. They regularly get put in their place. Everyone is trying to figure out how they got hired in the first place.

They probably got hired because A&M is one of the top 5 petroleum engineering schools in the nation, but this is all assuming that you didn't just make shite up.
