looking at the series history, I noticed that Ole Miss played in Baton Rouge every game from 1936 until 1952 (no game played in 1943). Any of our resident historians know what the deal was with that? Also, LSU has had a huge home field advantage in the series (as far as location goes)

Because Tiger Stadium was the biggest in the south (alternating with Tulane stadium) and visiting teams could make more $ here than at their home stadiums.
