I'm saying that YStar is trying to generalize and say that "all LSU fans" are crazy and act stupid over recruits. Do some? YES.

Yes no shite. Eveyone on this board generalizes the frick out of each others fanbase. When some LSU fans act stupid it might as well be your whole fanbase. When one Bama or AU fan says something or predicts something dumb than its the whole fanbase.
Get on your own fans when they are embarrassing and stop defending them because other fanbases have crazies too.

Well since you are suggesting I do this with my fanbase, you must spend your entire life doing this with your own fanbase? Did you already let the fan in the article know to stop embarrassing Alabama fans?

I never said all, I said there are a lot of crazies on your forum and the non-crazies would agree. I mean look at some of those Cam Rob threads, that crap is embarrassing.
How is that different than saying a site like tidefan has a lot of overzealous crazies which riot anytime your aren't pissing sunshine any and everything Bama related?

I admitted in my post above that there are certainly some retarded LSU fans. Some LSU fan was tweeting CamRob after it came out that Alabama led a while back all kinds of stupid stuff. I cringed reading it.
I've never seen you say that Alabama has some equally stupid fans. If that is your stance, then I understand and agree. Every fanbase has the idiots but I don't assume that all fans from a different fanbase are idiots.

The example shows that there are stupid Alabama fans who are hung up on 17-18 year old recruits and can't believe that he would choose another school other than Alabama.
The exact thing that was being stated earlier about LSU fans in this thread.
The example was to show that there are stupid fans from every fanbase so generalizing and saying that "all LSU fans are dumb because they do such and such" is stupid in itself because the same can be said about every fanbase.

Thanks for that one example. I'm sure there are a few of this in every fanbase, the point was it is much more than a few for LSU.
Just read through your own LSUrb. It isn't a one or two or three or twenty poster thing. Alabama fans can be idiots, but not over the kid committing elsewhere more for the "worship" and "thou shalt not speak against" attitude.
A lot of your guys just come off as possessive and insecure. Threads and posts attacking players for enjoying a visit or thinking about going anywhere not named LSU (even when they aren't from LA!) are the norm of your board.
