His point was you guys say Gus left because of discipline issues with AU, yet he takes in one of the biggest discipline problems at AU.

alright numb nuts.

And he was the only one to leave. He had problems with the lack of accountability and discipline, and did not see eye to eye with Gene. That's why he took a paycut to get out

It's also why he kicked him out as soon as he messed up. You can laugh all you want, but that was one of the biggest issues Malzahn had with Chiz.

Are you saying no other "strict" coaches have brought in players that have gotten into trouble in their past?

I'm saying that a "strict coach", those are your words, wouldn't make it one of his first priorities to bring in Michael Dyer to his program.

I'm saying that Gus didn't leave Auburn because he disagreed with with Gene about player discipline. I guess that's the new story now that you all have to go by.

I'm not saying Gus won't be the opposite of Chizik in terms of player discipline. I said I don't think that DW will find enough structure and discipline at any college program. The assertion that Auburn is now a new place for the type that need that structure and discipline is way premature imo because of what Gus has shown in the past... kind of like bringing Michael Dyer.
