I think it's likely JFF wasn't even there. And if he was, it's his responsibility to get himself up and to where he's supposed to be. No one elses.
It sounds to me like AJ is doing Manziel a favor by deflecting the questions. And he's likely frustrated at being asked, continually, about this arrogant, douche-canoe of a brat. It's taking attention away from his team at media days.
I'm not a big AJ McCarron fan, but he is a team player. I highly doubt he'd have let him sleep in and miss the camp. My guess is JFF wasn't there, or if he was, AJ tried to get him up and he ignored him.
