My dad would sit us down as a family and make us watch this movie every Thanksgiving. I hated it because I was forced to watch it. But ever since I watched it on my own merit, it's been one of my favorite movies.

Family tradition for us as well. Only three movies we always watched annually: wizard of iz, the ten commandments, and it's a wonderful life. Never hated any of them, but IAWL is endeared to me now for so many reasons.
