I didn't even grow up in the 50s/60s/70s and I can relate to the Sandlot.
Sandlot wins for me. Spent countless hours playing pickup baseball games with the kids on the street, scheming to hit on the lifeguard at the pool and then chickening the frick out when it actually came time, going to six flags and acting like little badasses cause we rode the scream machine and the ninja and the batman coaster. Simpler times, man.
