Didn't stand a chance? If our players actually get up for that damn 2nd half, Auburn loses by at least 42 points. None of that you can blame on the coach. Our defensive players just laid down in that game.

Alabama out talented? 2010 was supposedly Saban's most talented team in his first six years. I think outcoached is what you're looking for, but that's not completely the case either. The loss falls on the players not giving it their all the entire ball game. Plus Mark Barron played injured. Auburn won by one dang point, yet people act like Alabama was dominated. The most remarkable thing about the 2010 Iron Bowl was that Alabama blew a 24 point (3 score) lead. Alabama beat themselves, plain and simple.

As an Aggie fan, you should also recognize that some teams are much better at the end of the year than they were to start. A combination of several factors held Alabama back in 2010, but the team that took the field against Michigan State in the Capital One Bowl probably wouldn't have gone 9-3 in the regular season.

Gumps have little reason to still be butthurt considering they've won back to back national championships and have sustained success while the Auburn Tigers disappeared.
