I can understand enjoying the first few years of extreme success moreso than then years where you're an established dynasty. What you should have asked was if people missed the 08-09 period where Alabama was re-emerging on the national scene. I can understand liking that period more than the present day.

2009 was for me the most fun out of any of the 3 by far. Nothing was guaranteed, and there was a lot of doubt about many of the games.

Exactly. You said it much better than I did. In one sentence, the buildup to a dynasty is way more fun than being at the height of one.
