They return about as many tackles for a loss on the DL as we return on our entire team.

Stats are misleading. Statistically, Nebraska was the best pass defense in the country last year and Murray threw for 427 and 5 tds. FSU scored basically at will last year and I would imagine our offense is better than theirs.

I think we win this one handily.

Anyone remember what the Eagles did to Vick in the 2004 NFCCG? They forced him to run right because he was a lefty QB. I would like to see the same thing with Boyd. Force him to his left if we can to see if he can make those awkward throws. Their run game doesn't scare me because it is unproven.

On offense, establish the run and when they get a little gassed, hit them with the hurry up. Murray runs the hurry up really well and if it is used at the right times, Clemson will have no answer

stats like pass defense are misleading (because Nebraska was 90th in run defense. teams didn't bother throwing because they knew they could run).

Tackles for a loss isn't the same type of stat as that. It's an impact play stat. And you can't fake it.

They played lesser competition and return some very good DL. It's why the number is there.
Clemson should feel fairly good about the DL coming into the game, though. That doesn't say much about their LBs or DBs, however.
