SEC schools vary as there is no uniform policy on dismissal.
They probably should, but a set policy sort of eliminates the chance to consider specific circumstances, which I'm generally against. At Mizzou, if you're charged with a felony, you're suspended immediately, and likely dismissed. These guys would be gone here too. On pot, they generally sit a game on the first offense, and would be dismissed after the 2nd, I think. Could be 3rd.

Which makes you wonder if the Dawgs are suffering from their drug policy and may be part of the reason UK is not so good in football. For UK it probably goes back to the Sonny Collins days (ironically when UK had a good football team) and they were pretty lax. Probation with Curci and the girl who disappeared followed by Drew Thorton landing on a Tennessee driveway and things got strict.
