I follow college baseball pretty religiously and I didn't watch either game of the finals. I don't like watching a team that hit under .250 unearn-run their way to a title.

To be fair, it was having to compete with new episodes of fast n loud, pawn stars, and american pickers, you know shows people actually follow.

While no one cares about the CWS unless your team is in it, the lower ratings probably had more to do with the amazing nba and NHL finals going on at the same time.
