My concern, and the reason I think he's probably a traitor, is that he absconded from his job with lots of information on his computer and memory sticks. No one really knows the extent, yet, of what he took when he went and started talking to the media. And he took this info with him to China, and now presumably, Russia. And hopes to go to Ecuador - a close ally of Venezuela. I'd bet everyone of those countries already has, or will soon hae, copies of all the info he took with him. That goes way beyond whistle=blowing.

Maybe he doesn't have anything of interest to those countries, nothing beyond the domestic surveillance stuff. But he'd have been stupid to run without info that would give him leverage, and I don't think he's stupid.

I pretty much agree with everyone over the past few pages but particularly your points about the information he took on his computer and memory stick. You don't copy your hard drive before leaving the CIA unless you have ulterior motives

I never bought into this guys motives or the moral outrage over his actions. The same people that initially supported this guys actions were the one who applauded whenever the neighborhood Pedo was arrested . . . How the frick did you think the police magically figured out that the Church Deacon was downloading child pornography? Pretty sure there's someone assigned just to monitor the TD Poli Board alone. I always assumed this type of thing was going on and having it confirmed didn't change my thoughts or opinions

He has done more harm than good and has placed untold numbers of innocent people at risk by running around the world with CLASSIFIED INFORMATION. Espionage is a dirty business and not only are government workers and officials at risk but so are their family, friends, and associates.

I hope him and his smug satisfaction rots

So, just because the government labels it's own dirty laundry as "classified," they shouldn't have to be held accountable for it?

Give me a fricking break.

I wish I could label all the dirty shite I ever pulled as "classified" and tell my wife she can't hold it against me because she wasn't supposed to know about it.
