I don't think the guy is worth the contract he signed, but he is hitting like .400 in August almost bringing it up to .300 on the year. Only 2 home runs in August, but he's still hitting.

Holliday is a joke.
He didn't really help this team all year, first 4 of the 6 months he was a negative player for the offense. Led league in double plays and hit around .250-.260, but this little surge late makes it look like he has helped all year. He'll end up around .285-.290. He is a negative player on defense.
Screwed us in 09 playoffs. Did nothing in the '11 WS, and was removed from the roster for game 7 bc the speed threat of Chambers was more valuable than a useless Holliday (wasn't the pinky).
