And Capstone beat me to addressing the professional recruiting assessment of our resident football genius.

Dominating at a camp is not a big deal. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying he's a bad player. I'm just saying that he's not a 5* guy.

When you compare the guy to players like Anthony Johnson, Dominique Easley, Glenn Dorsey, Montravious Adams, and other top talent out of high school they dominated. Watching the tape on them you could tell they played with great technique even for big guys. Comparing Elams tape to those types of players you can tell a big difference.

In my playing experiance I've been around a lot of big guys that are very talented and big but if you consistantly pound on them they give up and don't want to fight anymore. I'm calling a bust. He will not make it to the NFL.

So guys who may have had poor form in HS can't be taught to have better form, better technique in college? I definitely beg to differ.

Frankly, all I'm concerned about is how well he plays in college and frankly there are a lot of guys who don't end up in the NFL so I don't necessarily consider that all that much of an insult.

And your playing experience ends with what? High school? And in the state of Kentucky no less. I think I'll trust the guys that are currently recruiting him on this one. You know, the ones getting paid millions of dollars to coach and recruit and who have regularly put talent in the NFL. And the guys who invited him to the Army All-American game too.
