02 Michigan out scored their opponents 644-12 on the season /thread

Nice try, but here was that schedule. Note how many games were played @ home and scores run up against inferior opponents. Michigan played 8 of 11 @ home and played 2 of 11 at favorable neutral sites (Toledo is just over the state line from Detroit) and Chicago is full of UM grads. That team only played 1 team in their home city and UM probably had more fans.

09.27.02 Albion (MI) Ann Arbor W 88-0
10.04.02 Case (OH) Ann Arbor W 48-6
10.08.02 MSU (MI) Ann Arbor W 119-0 (Sparty was not in B1G yet)
10.11.02 Indiana Ann Arbor W 60-0 (Hoosiers are not a football school)
10.18.02 Notre Dame (played in Toledo?) W 23-0
10.25.02 Ohio State Ann Arbor W 86-0 (Buckeyes were not in the B1G and not the power they are today)
11.01.02 Wisconsin (played in Chicago) W 6-0 (respectable team but barely beaten)
11.08.02 Iowa Ann Arbor W 107-0 (looks like Iowa sucked that year)
11.15.02 Chicago (played in Chicago) W 21-0 (Chicago disbanded football team and dropped out of B1G)
11.22.02 Oberlin (OH) Ann Arbor W 63-0
11.27.02 Minnesota Ann Arbor W 23-6 (Gophers are not a football school)
