If Clark beats him out, that would be a good thing. It'd likely mean Clark learned to stop pounding the rock.

Shamburger as a secondary ball handler is a positive. Even if he's terrible, he offers at least a little bit of ball movement to a team that had absolutely none last year. Last year he was getting 0.77 assists per field goal attempt. His shooting numbers aren't great, but if he's not looking to shoot, he won't hurt them. His win shares per 40 minutes last season was actually higher than Clarkson's.

I thought Clark deferred to Clarkson and Brown a lot last year. And it didn't help that we were running that high screen nonsense either. I think Clark may be the biggest beneficiary of the new Anderson offense, tbh. We shall see.
