Not true. I was bitching long before that. There were several 2-3 way ties in the SEC west that sent Bama or auburn to the SEC championship with an easier schedule. Its just now getting some traction recently because of the NC's.

And people think Bama fans are delusional.

I saw another LSU nut yesterday thinking that there were all these ties in the SEC West where Bama won the tie-breaker.

I had to inform him that a tie for 2nd/3rd place (ie. 2012 with LSU/A&M both having 6-2 conference records) has nothing to do with the CCG.

How can so many within the fanbase think that they win the division every year and just miss out on the CCG based upon a technicality?

Well He should be beaten...lol. I don;t recall all these tie breakers off the top of my head. I do know for a while the winner of the Auburn LSU game usually won the division. Now I guess the winner of Bama LSU game, but don't know about all these 3 way ties. A 2 way tie simply comes down to which team beat the other.

However, it is getting traction due to the bridge scheduling crap, 14 teams...and yes I'll admit part of it is BAMA's recent success...which makes this bridge scheduling even more ridiculous...should be criminal.
