This is the issue, you think by snagging them before OU and Texas does anything. You are not in the Big 12. frick Texas and OU. You don't have to compete with them anymore. You on a whole new playing field now.

Johnny fricking Football was only a 3*, same with Case Keenum, the all-time NCAA leader.
God help people when Sumlin gets a 5* QB and a 4* defense (he'll have both soon). Fun times.

LSUNV - I think you missed the whole point. Taking the top recruits out of the state of Texas rather than all of them going to Texas or OU. That is Huge. A&M has taken like 6 or 7 of the top 10 DL in Texas. These guys typically went to Texas, OU or the Noles.
A&M is leading Texas now and my point is that if that continues, and A&M can Cherry Pick need positions like QB from anywhere - its going to be interesting.
Doing a 450 million dollar renovation to the stadium to make it biggest and nicest in SEC wont hurt.
My whole thread is actually about how the SEC is a different playing field - did you even read it.

I don't think you understand... we still have to recruit against OU and texas every year regardless, and the more players we can steal from them, the better.
