I do think it's funny that casual fans talk about the dollar value and regional markets in expansion.
If you're not a SEC or TV exec, why the frick would you care about that?

I just think there are schools out there that would strengthen the conference even more.
Adding another big basketball school would be great.

You would only care if you want your school/conference to get even more cash to pay recruits.

ETA: Now that we're in, frick expansion unless it's UNC and UVA, which isn't happening.

yea, why should we care about more $$$ for facilities to improve all of our sports?
