New minor league team coming to the Mississippi gulf coast with some BP $$$..Supposed to seat about 7,000 with room for 14,000 at concerts..Directly across the street from the Beau Rivage

The top names for the team include the blues, bacon and schooners(yes, all sound terrible IMO)

Can't wait till the Montgomery Biscuits and Biloxi Bacon square off. It will be the "Breakfast Sandwich Classic"

Me so happy. I live like 7 minutes from where this will be.

I hope we're called the Landmassers

frick. Word is that the team moving will be the only minor league team within 50 miles of me (Huntsville Stars).

Shame too, because once every on Redstone Arsenal gets fricked with Sequestration, they'll be a lot more free time to go watch games.

with nearby communities such as Gautier and Saucier and half the town having last name of Thibodeaux or Boudreaux, the team most certainly has to be some type of nearly unpronounceable French name.
