That might not be true either, but a championship doesn't make someone better at their position.

Fact is, AJ McCarron is not a household name outside of the southeast. Johnny Manziel is. Tebow was. Cam was.

Fact is, if you dont think every football watching household in America doesnt know who AJ is, then you must be a LSU fan.

So, in order to be the best QB in your eyes, you dont have to win championships, but you do have to be a household name. I smell hate.

Being a household name doesn't make someone better at the position either. Who had heard of Joe Flacco in 2007?

As far as your examples,

Cam's yet to make the playoffs, have a winning season, or finish in the upper half in passing efficiency in the NFL.

Tebow is currently unemployed.

JFF has yet to win the SEC West, much less a title.
