So, why is everybody afraid to talk about the real reason the SEC keeps the 6-1-1 schedule?

We all know the weak sisters of the SEC load up on directional rent-a-wins and are deeply afraid of having to play Florida, Georgia, or even South Carolina from the East or Bama, LSU, and TAM from the West, or whomever is strong at the moment.

I understand why!

Coaches in the SEC make a lot of money, even at the 2nd. tier schools. So, the longer they can last before being fired, the more they can stash away for their planned retirement.
