Thank you LSU guys for helping my cause here. Some LSU fans on here are too cool - trying to impress the rant.
I am impressed by the recent gifs of my failings. Come on Bamas = bring some good stuff. LSUFREEK owns yall.

No, that would not follow Saban's logic. He implied that a team that didn't win its division shouldn't be going to a better bowl than the team that won that division. Bama and UGA were not in the same division. Bama didn't go to a better bowl game than the team that won their division in 2011.
Besides, CNS later clarified that what he meant is that he felt UF and UGA were both deserving of BCS bowls and it's a shame that only 1 of them could play in the BCS because of the limit of 2 teams per conference.

Guru - the answer first off is you dont have to - apparantly. But the reason you are not ended the series as of now is politics, influence, money, tv revenue, etc...
