Oregon rules. Lived in Portland for a few years...would love nothing more to go back. Almost shelled out to go to the regional.

Yep. I have redneck family in Hermiston, Oregon. Great Uncle is an illiterate millionaire and made his money farming. I go out there from time to time for weddings and it's very redneck. Everyone gets drunk, the men wrestle and throw each other in the pool and there is line dancing into the wee hours of the morning. It's all very foreign to me.

I lost it at illiterate millionaire.

Illiterate or not, he sure had one helluva work ethic. I actually like the high desert. You can fall into hibernation in the valley in the winter - rain, rain, and more rain.

The entire Northwest is incredible. I wouldn't mind living in Oregon/Washington.

I've been to Washington and it was pretty

Oregon, I do want to check out too. I am aware about the eastern part as mostly flat.

Out of curiosity, what did your Great Uncle grow to make his money farming?

Hermiston is in the high desert. That is potato country. Also, his name is Jeidi. Yep, I have a great uncle Jeidi.
